I worked in the media business for 26 years. Of these, 20 years in a managerial role.

For Axel Springer I led the international acquisition of a media portfolio and then managed, expanded and digitally developed the resulting Munich based company for 10 years as Managing Director. 

I initiated and implemented various significant M&A projects. Later, I also managed a large and highly profitable core publishing division of the Group as the Managing Director.

For the US media company Condé Nast I was CEO in Germany for 10 years. I was also appointed to the international Executive Board in London as Vice President International and became Director Mergers & Acquisitions at the same time. 

Among other things, I realised and oversaw various investments and managed them as a board member. Two of these investments have achieved unicorn status.

I supported he Corporate Venture Fund Advance Venture Partners in New York as a Senior Advisor.

From 2019, I was an associated partner with Proventis Partnersa leading M&A consultancy with four offices and 30 professionals. After founding my own consulting firm, I have a close co-operation with Proventis.
